Cat & Pet Grass Seed Blend. Non-GMO, Certified Organic by OTCO. Blend of Hard Red Wheat Seeds (wheatgrass) Barley (barleygrass) Oats (oatgrass) & Rye (ryegrass). Your pets crave the sweet taste of grass to maintain their health. This grass seed blend is loaded with vitamins and minerals to keep your kitty healthy. Sprouting Instructions 1- Pour seeds into desired container. Tip: You want a good solid layer covering the bottom 2- Fill container with enough water to cover seeds completely. Soak for 9 hours. 3- Drain water and rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Tip: Place container into a lightly sealed ziplock bag to help the sprouting process The seed will swell up and once you notice it's plumped up, it's time to plant! 4- Rinse seeds with fresh water daily until the white “tails” appear, usually 2-3 days. Tip: Keep in a lightly sealed ziplock bag until the “tails” start turning into roots. Green blades will start to appear. 5- Once grass has come in, keep misted with water. You don’t want the seeds to dry out. Tip: To help extend the life of your plant, every couple days wash the container with warm soapy water and allow fresh water to run thru your plant and drain out completely. To remove the plant from its container pull firmly and evenly on the blades and it should pop out.
